Nick O'Leary White Rocks Riesling is a premium dry Riesling from the Canberra District, sourced from a single vineyard planted on lean, rocky soils in the high-altitude Murrumbateman region. The wine showcases the purity and precision characteristic of cool-climate Australian Riesling, with lifted aromatics of lime juice, green apple, jasmine and wet slate, complemented by a palate of electric citrus zest and crunchy acidity with a fine, powdery texture. Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel with minimal intervention, resulting in a laser-focused expression that balances Riesling purity with Burgundian structure. The wine has earned critical acclaim, including a 96-point rating, and has quickly become one of the standout examples of the variety in Australia. It is cellar-worthy and pairs beautifully with oysters, Thai salads, or as an elegant aperitif.

The 2024 White Rocks Riesling hails from our oldest estate vines at Heywood in Murrumbateman, where the rugged, high-altitude decomposed granite soils and cool climate yield fruit of exceptional purity and piercing acidity. We hand-harvest and gently press to capture lemon blossom, Meyer lemon zest, ginger flower, and a flinty mineral drive, fermenting cool in stainless steel with minimal intervention to preserve its razor-sharp structure and precise length. This vintage embodies our philosophy of letting the site's intense character shine through in a balanced, electrifying dry Riesling built for cellaring and pairing with fresh seafood.
